Why do certain areas smell moist and salty?
Discussion
I have the rather dubious honour of currently working in Farnborough (Hampshire) and tonight I had to walk to the train station as I am off for a long weekend. The air smelt, if you can forgive my crude description, like spunk! I have noticed this in another nasty little towns, is there a (sensible) explanation?
There was a point in about 2003 when a section of the M27 always smelt kind of musty, like a mop that's been put away damp.
My assistant told me there'd been something in the local news about it, and it was thought to be some kind of fungal outbreak in the soil. She was mad as a sack of squirrels, mind you, so that could have all been in her tiny little mind.

I believe there is a weekly meeting for the 'premature ejaculation society' held close by. Can you spot any slug-like-trails as these should lead to the offending culprits.
The meeting hasn't been organised yet, but it's coming soon.Mr.Jimbo said:
