I went into the kitchen barefoot this morning at 3.15 to get the Calpol for the little un. A couple of steps in, and I sense a squidginess underfoot. My first thought was "Oh, it's only a bit of pasta from tea last night". I put the light on, and no, it's Mr Slug who has wandered in and is now a little flatter and more punctured than he was before.

Cue a bout of trying to keep vom down while scraping him off my pink undersole.

Thanks.

But can stand on them, if you're like cobra kid.

You think that's bad? Try having a 14-stone dog dump outside your kitchen door, right where you put your (bare) foot at night.

Spent 3 months counting and weighing Deroceras reticulatum as my MSc thesis. Had so many that they had to go in sub-divided dishes and then in the freezer until I got round to weighing them off. They do smell a bit rotten when defrosted and left for a bit smile
