So, what do I do? My old m8 is 40, apparently hired a fking boat to sale up & down a river(Jesus). I'm still in the dog house for apparently getting so pissed on the Sunday of the En-ger-land game that Ididn't know what year it was. (total bullst, I defo remember walking home & falling into vegetation, next thing I know I'm amazingly at home hugging the bog, Tardis?).

So, play it safe & keep pregnant wife happy OR get totally pissed in preparation for new born celebrations and face the wrath in the morning(if I live)??

Over to you..........

Very sensible idea....get absolutely off your face....on a boat, no can't see any dangers there, well apart from drowning! Can't you just take it easy on the drink. Don't think you shouldn't go but compromise, promise not to get pissed and stick to it, don't give in to the inevitable coercing from mates, you're old enough to think for yourself.

No it's not.

On my 40th I drove over the Applecross Pass for lunch at the Applecross Inn before coming back around the coast and on to the Loch Torridon Hotel for champagne and dinner.

No being horribly pissed involved but still very, very cool.

Actually, I agree with you Don.

What is it with mid life crises that men think they're 18 again?

Get hammered, arrange to stay at a friends for the night. Tell the missus this is so you don't disturb her with your drunkeness (sp).
Contact her by txt a few times telling her you miss her etc, but remember...

To be fair I forgot my smiley (now inc). It wasn't meant to be such a heavy handed comment. However having lived in Brixham for many years, the above scenario does happen. Anyway have you decided what you are doing?

You've got to help me.

I went on this boat right? The booze flowed and my memory of the night became hazy. But I think I remember one of the blokes breaking down and sobbing "Its no good...I've been without a woman for too long".

Then I woke up naked. Apart from a bow-tie.

Sort of in a big pile of mates.

Who were also sort of naked.

And I've got 'slut' written on my forehead, and it won't come off.

I'm sooo confused...???

Well about time; someone with a no nonsense, take responsibility for your actions, you only have yourself to blame based approach to male bad behaviour.

Brilliant, if it wasn't for just one tiny little thing.
