Well done squire.

I got a 2:1 Aerospace Engineering BEng (hons) bowtie

After having to resit part of my second year thanks to a distinct lack of effort and too much alcohol I pulled my finger out and managed a 1st in my Final Year Project (dissertation) which I was delighted with! biggrin

PS, if anyone is looking for a graduate interested in aerodynamics/CFD let me know. Please, I'm getting bored of job hunting already banghead

Well done chap, any ideas where what field you are looking to go into? I assume with the environment bit you stand a good chance of getting into BREEAM, CFSH, SAP & SBEM.

Nice one! I very nearly switched to BS after my first year of a QS degree but in the end didn't bother (mostly because it was gonna be a PITA getting all the uni paperwork done. I know a few poepl in who did BS at the same time as me and they've gone off in lots of different directions (much like the QS's I know!)

What do you fancy doing? Traditional BS in building industry? Heavy industry?

I have done some pretty stressful things in my time, but the worst so far has been my finals and then waiting for my results! Stress dreams and the shakes was bizarre. Probably learned to deal with it better now, so it was extreme at the time.

Good luck and enjoy the sun while you can. 20 years from now you will be loaded under a mortgage and potentially kids - it will seem so free and easy, back when you had a summer off!

Congrats

Will Carling did the same degree as my wife a few years earlier - he still holds record for the lowest ever pass. Didn't do him any harm did it? Millionaire, shagged a princess, International Rugby career, chin shaped like a bum.

Well done, got myself a 2:1 luckily. Was planning to get into a job as soon as, instead I've decided to bugger off to America for 10 weeks in September to do conservation work so I'm going to live the relaxed lifestyle for a bit longer.

I'd agree with her, and I got my 2:2 today! 2:2 in civil engineering, and I was indeed a fktard...

Finalising my dissertation topic 3 weeks before deadline didn't help, neither did getting the wrong submission date for some assignments, thus meaning I had to do them as a last minute thing too!

So, yes, you do need to be a fktard to get less than a 2:1 - it was sheer fktardery that got me my mark.

Still, now I've got 5 yrs experience and a degree, so I'm happy. smile
