I've just been to collect this little chap who'll be making my single bachelor life a little less lonely. biggrin

He (I think it's a 'he') is a Crested Gecko and is very, very cool. They were rediscovered back in 1994 and were thought to be extinct. So far they're known to have a lifespan of 15+ years. They get their name from the 'eyelashes' they have, as well as the two crests from their eyes along their backs to their tails. Very easy to keep, it's the perfect pet for me. He should grow to around 7-10" in the next couple of years, he's only a youngster at 6 months old.

So, name suggestions please...? smile

Mods; there is no 'pets' section and it's not really applicable to any other section. Please can this be left in the Lounge?

He was bloody difficult to photograph, they're always moving and love to jump! I would've done better with the DSLR, but the battery pack is flat so phone camera had to do. Perhaps there should be suggestions for both sexes in case he turns out to be a she..?

Gordon's quite cool, and only people of a certain generation would 'get' it.. I've just read that they're still an endangered species. Awww, bless him!

Nigel sounds cool. You could have him sitting on your shoulder in the pub.

I'll have a pint of Theakston's and a half for Nige. biggrin
