I'm not on FB but a couple of the guys i work with are constantly on Mafia Wars. I have to sit and listen to them talking about sending each other oranges and diamonds and their new 100 point guns etc.

WTF indeed!

I used to play all that Farm Ville and the one where you cook stuff, proper flash games rather than the click and collect some points ones like Mafia Wars...grew up eventually though smile

Do you think the 500,000 Facebook user got free oranges and carrots or whatever it is?

There's a special place in hell reserved for the creator of Farmville! frown
A mate of mine went and spent 80 real life quid on Farmville (virtual) stuff. He wasn't best pleased when his daughter went onto his computer and gave it all away to his friends biggrin

Have a mate into this...every now and again I get a message saying something along the lines of "mate needs help with defeating a dozen AK47 wielding battle kangaroos holed up in some drug den somewhere"

So tempted to "click on" but have held off so far. It took me nearly a year to totally give up Urbandead - cannot afford to get sucked in again! biggrin

Basically it is a very simple trading game that I used to play at school about 15 years ago.

You buy drugs from one place, and sell in another. The prices fluctuate within location.

They did this on facebook and within that people start to create "gangs".

This was then the offshoot of it.

So now you do jobs and sorts of other st, not really exciting.
