Hi All,

I bought a new pair of Barker shoes yesterday to replace my slightly worn pair and I noticed that Barker offer a repair service for shoe, any idea of how much it costs to have then resoled?

Cheers

Sunil

PS Amusingly enough there are sites on the net explaining how to do it yourself!

PPS Sorry if this is in the wrong section!

When I sent my Barkers back to them it cost around £60 for them to be re-soled. After that I went to a decent cobbler who did as good a job for £20.

I'd just go to a decent cobbler, they'll do a surprisingly good job and for a fair price usually. I most definitely wouldn't follow an online guide and do it myself though! I can repair a car and do DIY, somehow though I can see a shoe repair leaving me with the soles coming off halfway down the road...
