Sorry, just had to share this... Was walking along Piccadilly a couple of evenings ago and there are an old dear walking in front of me. All of a sudden she let of a massive fart! I am surprised that she did not follow through it came out with such ferocity! The amusing thing is that she continued walking as it nothing had happened not even a smurk on her face.

Reminds me of the time I was walking home from the train station. Used to chat to a few people at the station in the morning, and occasionally bump into them on the way home. There was this one chap, Andy, I used to see every few days.
One day, we're walking along the road chatting, and he steps off the pavement with one foot...and farts(not sure if the one lower step moved his bum cheek and out it popped). I didn't know him that well to pull him up on it. He just carried on talking like nothing had happened! smile

Gas, Horses and The Public are an even worse combination.

Theres not much you can do but grin and bare it when your 800Kg equine friend decides to go an step-by-step trump parade!

Thankfully the smell isn't quite proportional to the sound, otherwise I'm sure it would cause civilian casualties.

I was stood in WHSmiths a couple of years back, flicking through car mags wasting time, as you do. An elderly gent who was much smaller than I was stood beside me reading a train magazine. A few moments later he let out an almighty bang followed by what sounded like a pair of gargling 45s. He stood there as if nothing had happened. If it had just been a fart then fair enough, but this was obviously a rather large and rather wet one- the evidence was on the back of his shoes. However, he continued to read and didn't bat an eyelid. Felt sorry for him, but made a rather sharp exit before he poisoned me to death with his fumes.

Sorry, but even at the age of 34 it still make me piss my pants reading some of these stories.

I remember a few years back, using a public toilet somewhere in the borders. Whilst I was in the cubical, in walked someone and before even closing their cubical door they let rip several times. So of course I got the giggles and had to leave sharpish.

It ends up it was an old dear, who must have been a least in her 90's hehe

The other factor is that being old means you no longer give a f**k what people think.......

I tried to explain to Mrs Saleen that even if you are stood alone in a forest in the middle of nowhere and fart that yes, IT IS still funny!
