Finally got my final result for one of my uni modules tonight and found out I passed!

Which gives me a first overall in Automotive engineering! Happy days

I sneezed, farted and belched at the same time today and I'm still alive...but well done anyway!

Well done chap.

But tell me, does that mean you've spent 3 years doodling car shapes like I used to do in Maths class smile

Good luck using your brains and skills by the time you finished your masters. The'll be nothing but electric bubble cars by then smile

Congratulations. Did you breeze it or did you work tirelessly to get your grade?

Well I wouldn't say I breezed it. It did take a fair amount of hardwork, but I still managed to do a part time job 25 hours a week most weeks, and train for a marathon, and still socialise. It's all just about time management.

Going to Cranfield to do the masters.

Thanks for the replies everyone

Which Uni? I had a number of mates go through Loughborough Auto Eng while I was there, and they've gone on to some quite interesting careers.
You thought about a Masters in something different?

Hertfordshire.

I did think about it, but I wasn't really sure what else I fancied. The course I've chosen is Automotive Product Engineering, the modules are varied enough that I don't think it will be at all restricting though. I have a pretty clear idea of what I want to be doing.

Did my placement at Millbrook Proving Ground, Cranfield was the local uni to there where a lot of the engineers had gone, heard some very good things about it.

Yeah, Cranfield has a great reputation in the aero engineering world as well. You have made a good choice for your masters and for your future.

Congrats.

Always good to hear. Starting in October. Just need to sort out the finance. Then start trying to get some more work experience whilst I'm there.

I understand this triggers a spontaneous backflip?

Or did the belch reverse the polarity of the sneeze-fart event?

I need to know. There's a draft New Scientist article on the line here.
