What does your local ice cream van have as its tune? We have two around where i live, and for some reason they both have the same tune, the monty python theme tune.

I was out cycling a few months back on top of a large hill. I could hear an ice cream van making it's rounds somewhere in the distance and it was playing this. There was something deeply melancholy about it.

Same here. It does annoy me when he stops the tune mid note.

Colonel Bogey. We live just outside a small village, you wouldn't know there were any other houses nearby.

Unfortunately, across the river and on the hill opposite is Catterick Garrison. Certain sounds carry down the hill to our house quite well, especially when the wind blows in our direction.
Sounds like the annoying, recorded racket of an ice cream van for instance. An ice cream van which drives constantly round the estates of the garrison playing f**king Colonel Bogey, from the start, every 10 minutes, from about 10am until 10pm. Just the first few bars, over and over. Constantly. Every. F**king. Day.
