This time last year my friend (An RAF pilot) did this for charity. He's doing it again this year.
"The CHARA CHALLENGE is a 30 mile test of physical and mental endurance. The event replicates the final test of the Royal Marine's Commando course. I will be carrying 32lbs of weight (not including food and water) along the arduous route which traverses roads, tracks, open moorland, bogs, streams, hills and rock runs."
