Afternoon,

If you place a bid within 12hours of an auction ending on an item hosted on the ebay US site (even though it appears on the ebay UK site) that turns out to be a counterfeit - before you have paid or won the auction - is there anyway out of it?

I have tried speaking to Ebay UK and after an hour they say they can do nothing to help cancel my bid or remove the listing.

have tried contacting the seller but they can barely type a word of english.

Any help?
