I hate to be the voice of reason, but having been put under notice for redundancy, it's just a legal thing they have to do before giving you the boot. I left pretty much the same day I was given notice. No point working for the tts any longer than necessary.

Very surprised. I know that the number of suppliers has been reduced in your field recently but so far as I am aware buyer demand is still high with an increasing consumer base.

It feels like a kick in the bks at the moment, 10 pints and a large curry will help.

After the shock / indignant feelings ware off, smarten up your CV.

While you are still at your company, use all of the contacts available, inside and especially outside, customers and suppliers. Tell people about your skills, be prepared. Something will turn up. Onwards and upwards!

If that fails, revert to the 10 pints and large curry therapy.

Exactly my thoughts so I packed my laptop away and drove straight home. Have interview sorted elsewhere next week.

The idiots couldn't even get my exit package right, reckoned I'm on a months notice, I readily informed them that it was actually 3 months and boss agreed this was the case.
