Does anyone have any irrational fears or phobias they would like to share with the PH masses?

Mine is cotton wool, I cant touch the stuff due to it's stupid squeeky noises when any pressure is applied to it silly

Apparently it's name is Bambakomallophobia

Any man made materials that do the same kind of thing - just the thought of grinding a scarf made from woven acrylic in my teeth makes me want to die!! weeping

The big black drain at the bottom of swimming pools. Cannot swim over it or close to it. No idea why.

Tomatoes - even looking at one being squashed can make me retch.

Strangely though I like ketchup (although I guess that is really just full of sugar!)

Not me but a guy at my last place of work was afraid of handbags.

Didn't like being in the same room as one and certainly wouldn't touch one. Apparently if he came home and his wife had left hers on the sofa he'd sit on the floor.

Doritos, for the last few years had nightmares about them, not so bad that I won't be in the same room as them but I can't hold/eat/look at them without a shiver.

Walking near scaffolding.
Always scared someone will drop a pole on my head or something.

Drinking from a tap.
Always have the fear that someones going to push my head as I'm drinking/rinsing.
Imagine the damage that would cause.

Marmalade. Rank ginger gel with disgusting 'bits' in it.

I like oranges, Jam etc but for some reason marmalade makes me feel sick. I can barely touch or pass a jar of it, even with the lid on. hehe

None really myself, but Mrs JCB has a phobia of cotton wool between her teeth?

When did she discover that? Weirdo!
