Discussion
To me the phrase is purely used when your so deep into a situation you cannot pullout and a victory is the only outcome you can deal with.
Now I used that in a meeting today discussing a situation we have with a customer. It appears the audience didn't take the phrase as I intended and the ladies are quite upset !
So am I way out of line here or am I correct in that it's a commonly used phrase not smutty at all on a par to up s

Perhaps in a sales meeting if I knew the team well. Now I used that in a meeting today discussing a situation we have with a customer.
