We got one of those too. Silly, as we already have TalkTalk.

No, do send it back like the OP is suggesting, as they'll get re-charged the postage to accept their own letter. hehe

If enough people do this, they'd likely stop sending out such stuff due to cost overheads...

Put somebody else's stuff in the envelope then send it back - so Talk-talk would get Readers Digest stuff, Reader's Digest would get talk-talks etc..

Well it's not going to get returned to sender, without a return address on it, is it? You just want to write an address on it, and ask Royal Mail to send it there for you. Good luck with that.
iirc they open the mail, and there will be an address inside

Hmmmm... Must be fun working for the royal mail... Whyever would they go on strike when they get entertaining post like this?

You've got to remember the main point that talk talk even send out these letters, its advertisement, and you going into such great deal to send it back to them proves there point that this advertisement works. You now know who talk talk are, what they do, you even know their blimming address now!
