With the furore surrounding a certain person's posts in recent days, if you were a 'celebrity' PH poster, would you let it be known or stay Anon?
How about if you had been posting for a long time and were easily identifiable and something happened which was about to make you a 'celebrity'... would you re-register for anonymity?

Even being a total nobody I still don’t advertise who I am. Sure you could easily find out if you were to trawl my history and the net, or ask any of the X number of people on here who I have met in the real world, but I’d be very cautious if I was a celeb posting on here.
I do know a number people, and am friends with some, whose names would be well known on here and a couple whose names are well known outside the car World. One or two of them may also post on here but give the impression that they are a coal merchant from the Rhonda valley or similar to avoid difficulties such as seen here this week.
Would I re-register if I suddenly became famous? Who knows, I’ll let you know if it ever happens, or not as the case may be
