you know, when you're just a bit down and can't pin it on anything, where do you go mentally to shake it?

I believe the correct answer to this is exercise, though I am too lazy to be able to verify it.

Put it all in perspective and it isn't a bad deal that you've got. At least you don't live on Coronation Street!

maybe i'm due on. no, hang on, i'm a bloke. cock it.

I find either exercise or alcohol, a mixture of both (preferably not at the same time and the alcohol after the exercise) also works.

Off licence

If you drink enough then you'll feel better, and by the time you're sober your mood will have changed anyway. You know it makes sense.

gave up a few years ago, didn't agree with me.

let me ask the question another way, is there anything you look at or think of that you can pretty much count on to cheer you up?

Fair enough.

A good chat or time with some friends or people you're close to, then.

Life's just a bit rubbish sometimes: we have expectations these days which are pretty hard to fulfil, and it's OK to be fed up now and then. It'll pass, and is quite normal.
