Yes, looks like it. .com's still working. And my work's site's images are still working, so the AWS is still up.

Yep, not loading for me either.

I know the hackers were talking about targeting it regards Wiki Leaks, have they got something to do with it?
I bloody hope not. I need to do my Christmas shopping on there this evening!

Is the 'Anonymous' group on that link anything to do with 4Chan and it's members?

No doubt some members of anonymous organise and post on 4chan but there's no formal relationship. In fact wikileaks related threads seem to be disapearing from 4chan. Make of that what you will.

If it is anonymous, why have they targeted Amazon UK and not .com? Its confusing as reports like this have the .co.uk image but refer to calls for .com to be taken down:

Well I would like to order some christmas presents, and this is rather annoying.

Better not be a DoS attack frown

I would have thought if anyone had the resources to hold off a DDoS attack it would be Amazon. Guessing this is a BIG attack.

Bloody loads I would imagine, must be a very busy Sunday night this time of year!
Big money. Dangerous thing, 4chan, if you piss them off. Amazon has expensive lawyers, interesting to see who wins this civil war.

Probabaly just a glitch then when I tried it....

I wonder how long Amazon will be down, what would they be doing to try to get it back up?
