Another ebay idiot

I have just advertised an old Sanyo car Cd on ebay and sold it for £4.99
It was short and sweet:

"Garage clearout.

This Sanyo CD car stereo came in a Japanese import therefore requires a band expander which is included in the sale.

Good working order.

Collection only and cash on collection."

This was all in bold large font.
Under postage it read "collection in person"

The winning bidder paid immediatly by Paypal, and never answered my emails asking when he wanted to collect.
Today (1 week later) he emailed me to say he cant pick it up as he is too far away, and can I refund the money or post it too him!
What an idiot

I said I wont refund him, he is a timewaster who should read the advert.
His grasp of English is very poor, and he has a foreign name.

I just called him an idiot and told him to contact ebay.

I cant believe some people, are they really that thick?

However I offered to send it for £6.50 today but I got this reply:


"Thay was show on tha eBay free post that's all I see it I like money back please"

Unfortunately ebay will likely back this retard because they force Paypal onto every transaction, on account of they own it.

If it is small enough to squeeze into a letter box, do this. Otherwise dissassemble the unit and post to him in pieces without postage.

I sold a GT4 bonnet on the bay of fleas the other day,it went for a quid,bargain for someone as id rather a pound than scrap it.
I siad on the advert collection only due to the size etc,clear as day.
The fella rang me and the first thing he asked is can i wrap it and send it to him!!.
I told him to arrange a courier himself and risk it getting damaged,its been a week now,still not payed or been in touch regarding collection of some sort,i have mailed him today,no reply so far.
The thing is,how long do i leave it to re advertise it?
ps,he was a new member with no feedback.
