Hi

Can anyone recommend me a good bag to carry my work stuff around in. I've bought cheap ones and they don't last a year so thinking of getting a Mulberry Walter in natural tan.

The only thing is I cannot find anywhere with one in stock to look at before I buy on line.

Cheers

John

"Satchel" as my brother vehemently defends his when I call it a man bag.

Maybe if he wants to look at the insides of his laptop strewn over the ground smile

Nothing wrong with a laptop bag thing, I just prefer a briefcase type bag.

My clients seem to prefer Murse.

I have two bags from Troop, and although neither has laptop protection, others in their range do.

IMHO, Mulberry is bad enough, but a man bag called Walter?!

Mugger magnet, no?

I had a Samsonite daysack that had a compartment inside specifically for a laptop...not really suitable for use with suit wearing jobs though, I'd have thought.

I have a Hugo Boss Embraer, works really well, is functional without being flashy and seems pretty hard wearing. Not OTT on price either.

I'd call into the Mulberry store on I think Bond St and be very wary of buying online unless through them as there are lots of fakes around. Been using a Mulberry bag for a couple of years - really rate them..

Ah.. Sorry, can't help then.. I think there is a store at T5 and probably in one of the designer outlets somewhere. I personally prefer them to a laptop bag - pretty obvious I guess that there is likely to be a laptop inside though..

Be grateful he doesn't call it a manbag in an effort to hide his homosexuality. Personally, I like to carry my Berghaus camouflage rucksack while bumming.

I use a papworth 4" attache case in tan pig-skin. Wasn't cheap but its lasted 15 years of use and abuse and is big enough to double as an overnight case for one night away.
