Useful phrases to remember
Discussion
Just been posting on a different topic and another user offered the phrase "just slap it on," which I liked because it suited the task at hand.
Anyway, I love useful phrases passed down through time, and was wondering if any PH members could share some?
Here's a couple I live by:
1) "Do it and then it's done". Common usage: walk past the washing up bowl, remember this phrase, washing done now rather than later.
2) "Cheap ain't cheap". Especially useful when pondering whether or not to buy a tool from the pound shop - in the end, you'll probably have to buy another and it will cost you more in time and money.

Near enough, isn't.
That'll do, won't.
A miss is as good as a mile.
