Best wheel courier?

Looking to transport 4x 15" winter wheels from Durham to Suffolk.

Anyone got any recommendations? It's a 500 mile round trip otherwise!

There is somebody called quite litterally wheelcourier.co.uk or something, found them very reasonable and they actually use DHL (or have when I've used them).

I've just asked; www.carpart2go.com to pick up 4 x 18" Jaguar Penta Alloys (with tyres) from Derby and deliver them to me in Bournemouth. Cost £39.95. Seemed good value to me. They pick them up on Thursday so I will post back once they have arrived to let you know how the service was.

Any broker-type service using DHL will probably be your best bet. I just paid £28 to get four 18s with their tyres

When I used carpart2go my paypal payment was to Paisley Freight so I guess they are the same guys.

A standard courier should do the job. Try www.parcel2go.com ... usually works out cheaper than doing it directly with the couriers.

If you can wrap two alloys in once package under 30kg, then you can send two packages (around £11 each).

I haven't forgotten my promise to post back but yes it is only Wednesday today. Hopefully the weheels are being picked up tomorrow and I am so hoping they are delivered same day (am I being optimistic?) as I really don't want to have to wait until the end of the bank holiday weekend to get them, clean and polich them, and get them on the car.
