I have just had a set custom made, so they're a little bit higher than normal ones, thus allowing greater depth.

First time I've really played with these and I really like it - great for a quick blast.

Anyone else use them? Thoughts?

Real men do pressups on thier knuckles.

Nah just kidding, they really help relieve the strain on your wrists, so are pretty decent to have.

Mate of mine used to swear by them as he couldn't get to the gym as often as he used to.

I do a combination of different type of press ups during circuit training (gecko, normal, wide arm, close arm, snake press) and use normal / incline bench press in the gym for the rest of my chest.

You're right, I do (knuckle push ups with claps... on concrete floors). But I injured a wrist climbing so find the push up bars a useful thing. I also use them for dips, shoulder push ups (half handstand push ups) and reverse push ups (face the ceiling).
