When I use the cross trainer my lower legs and feet go cold and my feet feel weak. Treadmill is OK, not noticed the same thing, it's just on the cross trainer. I'm reasonably fit and spend 45 mins on a aerobic exercise quite easily.

Any ideas ? Poor footwear ?

What are you wearing? You might be putting pressure on something during the motion, due to the fit of your clothes.

Sounds like bad blood circulation to your legs.

My feet go completely numb when I use the cross trainer. The instructor in the gym said that a lot of people get problems like this and the best way to alleviate it is by stretching properly first.

How much time has elapsed between your last meal and your session on the Xtrainer? What was the meal?

Last meal is lunch at 12-1 pm, usually a can of soup or vegetarian sushi with an apple, some almonds during the afternoon and then gym at 5pm or so. Breakfast is crushed nuts and dried fruit, yoghurt and fruit.

My guess is low blood sugar.A lot of people experience the same symptoms but usually after training.Incidentally overtraining manifests itself the same way.

Have some porridge (complex carb) for breakfast and about an hour before training two medium bananas (simple carb).Your body needs this fuel to power your workout,it

looks like you are not eating enough.
