Teeth Whitening

Contemplating doing this as I have noticed my teeth are no longer as bright as they used to be. I'm not a smoker but I do drink an awful lot of Tea & Coffee which I guess is the cause.

So do the Toothpastes you can buy really work or is it best to just go to a Dentist and have it done properly?

My Dentist isn't NHS and AFAIK there are none with vacanies around where I live that are.

Coffee isn't as staining as tea & Macleans Whitening toothpaste works well.

It works well, teeth can be a little sensitive for a day or two - well worth it.
Had one treatment in Mexico city for 100 usd - they recommended another 2 treatments but I didn't have the time. Gives impressive results IMO.

I had a mold made last yr but am not as impressed with the effect, it does cost considerably less, one off cost for the mold and then you can order paste on amazon for 25 squid a hit.

BTW I smoke, love espresso and red wine - preferably all at once

This thing is probably the best toothbrush I have ever used.

It took off all the stains, and you can actually see the difference within 2 weeks or so.

Makes your teeth feel like they have been polished.

Might have to look into it, seems quite reasonable priced in most places. Do you know if it can damage enamel?

Carbamide Peroxide Whitening Gel 35%. did wonders on my horrible yellow smokers teeth, used mouth trays though, and i always struggle to get a good shape to my tray due to the shape of my teeth, and it can be quite sensitive.

the best toothpaste ive came across is crest stuff here

that stuff made a good impact on its own without the need to sit with a moutgaurd in for half an hour, but for pearly white you need either that acp daywhite, or crest make whitening strips which are more practically but are a bit slower to work

Might give this a go myself, seems a lot cheaper than any other option.

^ It is, have used it for years, but it is mildly abrasive.
If you were to T-cut your car, but omit to wax it after, it would soon go dull again.
The same applies to teeth, so use somthing like Pearldrops aftwards.
