About 3 & 1/2 - 4 months ago i contracted a minor cold.
The usual, sore throat, cough, blocked nose etc. No big deal.
Took the usual, couple of lemsips & Sinex micromist for the blocked nose.
After about a week it all cleared up, bar the blocked nose, again no biggie i thought.
However after about a month i still had the blocked nose, all the time, yet there was'nt any snot etc.
I thought it might be down the this micromist so i stopped using it.
However after about 4-6 weeks my constant 'sniffing', excessive snoring & the fact it really began to feck me off i could'nt breath through my nose i began to use the micromist again.
I've been using it for a while now & as i can imagine it's not really great for you using that sort of medication for pro-longed periods of time, similarly if i stop using it i don't sleep due to not being able to breathe & it makes my life a bit of a misery!
I feel perfectly fine within myself, but i'm wondering if it's Dr's time or if i should just man up & carry on regardless?
The only thing i could possibly think it would be is some kind of infection, but i have no other symptoms at all except for a blocked nose, hence my reluctance to go to the Dr's!

To clear my sinus' I use a steam bath and run my head under a hot shower for a while and blow the crap out of my nose.

It works for a good 4 hours sometimes, haha.

Your case does sound extreme like, Worth a shot though. And Albas oil, lots of Albas oil

I had this issue for ages. I went to the doctors and they advised that I had a liquid build up behind the membrane in my nose. The doc have me some different spray and it seemed to clear it up after a while.

I do find if I have a cold and use spray that my nose does stay blocked after the cold but after a couple of days of not using the spray it sorts itself out again.

Just gave the Dr's a call & they've prescribed me another nasal spray (pre-scription one) with steroids in, have to take it 2 x a day and if it doesnt work in a month go back for further tests!

Could be rhinitis which is why the doc has prescribed a steroid spray. If it doesn't help then antibiotics will be issued to clear up any sinus infection.
