Dentist question

I had a wisdom tooth out in Monday, I have three sutures in my gum. I expect it to hurt but is it normal for my other teeth in that area to feel painful. Feels like they are really sensitive/ mild toothache?

It was infected but never got any antibiotics or packing, just nervous as going on holiday in 4 weeks and don't want an infection.

Any general advice?

might be an idea to get some antibiotics to take on hols. A hot salty mouthwash can help whilst away! Rest of teeth may be odd for a few days..dont forget you've had surgery with drilling of bone..so bound to hurt.

Thanks macgee, spoke to dentist today, who was happy to see me straight away, has irrigated socket and packed with disgusting tasting stuff. I have a dry socket apparently

If it helps my wisdom teeth are coming through on one side, it's made the whole side of my face swell up!
