Suddenly feeling dizzy/unbalanced
Discussion
Dear tn,
I had a very brief bout of labyrinthitis.
Symptoms more extreme than yours but compressed:
Went to work, felt a bit odd, went home, could barely stand I was so dizzy, nauseous, threw up a few times, bit shivery, slept, felt a bit better, had a snack, went to doctors and it was nearly all over...
...by lunchtime!
Nothing like it before or since,
regards,
Jet

Dear RAH,
One other thing comes to mind - sister in law had similar symptoms with glue ear,

Lucky it lasted so short a duration. Mine lasted two weeks... that's two weeks of not being able to run my own business!!
Ouch, that's got to hurt the wallet, just a day off for me.One other thing comes to mind - sister in law had similar symptoms with glue ear,

I tried to "man up" and get to a client just when it had struck... opened the front door and staggered across the drive to the car like I'd had 10 pints. Decided that even though I wasn't drunk, I would get done for dangerous driving (and even if I didn't, I would very likely cause an accident) so went back indoors and cancelled the appointment.
I get something like this if i've been doing loads of training without eating or getting enough sleep. I think it's low blood sugar levels.
Either that or you've got something nasty. Is your willy itchy and discharging anything unpleasant? You might have the clap! Good luck with that.

I got it last April and wasn't able to work for a year. No sick pay for me either.
Holy crap. That sucks. Weren't the pills any use then?? Betahistine is a life-saver. I always carry a couple on me just in case.
