Wisdom Teeth, any dentists out there?

I had 2 of my wisdom teeth removed yesterday, I can only really see the lower one and a clot has formed but is forming around the gum tissue of the next tooth too, also the areas where they were pulled out arn't hugely bleeding as such but kind of oozing blood out a bit which is unpleasant, I've tried biting down on gauze and biting a tea bag too(apparantly this helps) and still there is a little blood coming out, is this something I should be worried about or will it stop on its own?.
I'm thinking of ringing the hospital at the moment as I have to travel next week.

You are getting off lightly! When I had 3 of mine done, I woke up in the night with my pillow totall covered in blood and then needed 3 tea towels to soak up the blood and stem the bleeding

Hehe, me too, except mine were so bad I ended up having a transfusion the next day

I was just told to stay in bed unless the bleeding happened again.

How long did you bite down on the gauze for? If longer than 20 minutes I'd get it checked. You could try cold compress to the side of the face (wrapped in a teatowel)

I had one removed 4 weeks ago and I lost my clot, but it will form around the other tooth if your gum was cut in that area and sutured.

Thanks, I think the bleeding is from the clot on the gum that is by the tooth next to it, the top one doesn't seem to be hurting nearly as much as the bottom is, I've been rinsing with salt water and Cordysl today, hopefully they will start to improve, I hate not being able to eat any normal food at the moment!!.

Salt and corsodyl will encourage bleeding! Don't do it.

I recall days of eating porridge, soup and scrambled egg
