FFS I've got really chapped lips, tried every lip balm going, any PH recommendations? Not a proper man problem I know.

No it's unfortunately not from kissing too many girls.

Blistex/Blisteze. Job done and not as embarassing as using vaseline.

I find I get cracking lips when I don't drink enough fluids the previous day!

I'm MR crappy lipstick supplement at the moment, I've tried this, and the usual alternatives.

I'm ashamed, forever destined to be trying anti-chapping lipsticks... frown

Nolar Dog can give you advice on anti-chapping.

But seriously, try proper branded Vaseline rather than generic petroleum jelly. And drink more fluids.

worth trying a medicated chapstick, I find normal ones are useless and can actually make my lips drier and more flaky

Is it purely dry skin?

Is there any redness or any wet cracks?

If so it might be a skin fungus or infection which will only clear up with a prescription of mediated lip salve. You might need to see the doctor.

I speak from experience as I had a split lip whilst having orthodontic treatment which would not heal up.

I find Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula Lip Balm from boots works well. I get chapped lips quite often and nothing seems to work, Vaseline being the worst infact!

This is the stuff Mrs Pints uses. She swears by it and refuses to use anything else.

Always. It works. unless you've tried it and for you it doesn't. lol. But for me always has from boy to man, to well built broad shouldered tall handsome company director with goatee*
