I was in a psychiatry lecture about a month or so a go, and the lecturer(a respected psychiatrist) briefly mentioned this stuff, Ginkgo. All he mentioned was that it is a 'memory enhancer'. Anyway, I'd totally forgotten about this stuff (oh the ironing) until a few minutes ago when I found it after trawling through some notes.

Anywho, has anyone got any experiences of this stuff? A brief search online revealed it being sold by Holland and Barrets et al and a few 'interesting' accounts from people who had smoked the stuff.

Im just wondering if it actually works?
cheers

Read about it many a time and tried on and off and don't really have any conclusions.

Ive tried it too. It's supposed to prevent the onset of Alzheimers.
I don't know if it works or not, but until real clinical trials are done, how will you know?
You may forget to take it, or if you still get Alzheimers and they ask if you have taken Ginkgo Baloba, you wont remember anyway.

Mind you I do believe in some of this herb stuff, (BTW it's also supposed to keep you alert.) mmm?scratchchin
