Heart rate monitors
Discussion
Afternoon all
My mother is wanting one of these for Xmas, she does a lot of Cardio at the gym and wants to monitor her heart rate
I've had a look around and the price fluctuates a lot, I'm not sure if the cheaper ones can do a lesser job than an expensive one, surely they're all doing the same job?
That said, cost isn't much of a limit, as long as it's say under £100
Any recommendations?
Thanks
Dan

I've bought a couple from here: click.
The Polar was okay but I much prefer the Suunto t3c I use currently. It's not compatible with (most) gym equipment but I find it better at pairing than the old Polar I had before.
You can spend as much or as little as you like on these things, depending on your/her requirements.

That seems pretty good, she'll probably like a Polar FT4 in pink The Polar was okay but I much prefer the Suunto t3c I use currently. It's not compatible with (most) gym equipment but I find it better at pairing than the old Polar I had before.

Get one that is compatible with the gym equipment she uses - Polar usually are and others might be but it's worth checking.
Good idea, all our gym stuff is Technogym so I'll look up compatability Gassing Station | Health Matters | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
