itchy finger (ooh err)

my middle finger on my right hand is sometimes very itchy i mean seriously itchy but usually only first thing in the morning and not every morning. it seems to come up in a series of lumps on the metacarpals segment around the webbing bit to bottom of ring finger. other times like now there are no lumps it doesnt itch although the area looks and feels dry. i popped into chemist and pharmacist said try hydrocortisone i tried that but no change ive been having this for possibly over a year now any ideas

i keep meaning to go see doctor but cant find the time (funny that i could have called in time its taken to write this )

i drink about 1.5 litres of bottled water a day and 2-3 pints of squash as well so anout 3 litres all in so i wouldnt imagine its that or isnt that enough

Cut out the squash for a week. The sugar could be making you itchy.
