Stuff you dont want the Mrs to have when you're a Petrolhead

1. Persistent car-sickness.
No matter how I drive, she gets car sick. When we go on holiday, she has to have qwells just to get to and from our destination, as it normally involves winding roads.
Its also frustrating me as I know there is little chance of us ever enjoying a driving holiday together to Italy or similar, as obviously she isnt a fan of long drives.
Personally I think its because she is a control freak and the idea of not being the driver makes her physically sick. But I'll admit here and now I dont have the balls to suggest that particular diagnosis.
Motion sickness tablets are an obvious answer, but I dont want her on them all the time and they tend to leave her a bit "spaced out".
Any ideas?

She sounds the same as my wife, and in Mrs SC's case it's genuine. Corners are the worst, and roundabouts etc she finds it best to close her eyes, it's something to do with a disparity between what the motion sensors in her inner ears, which are reacting too slowly, are telling her, and what her eyes are telling her. She's better when she drives, but even then 30 minutes on a twisty road is quite enough.
I don't think it's curable, but might be worth your wife seeking medical attention.

I had a friend who's Mrs didn't put her feet on the dash....His bit on the side however managed to put her bare feet all over the inside of the windscreen during a moment of passion. Apparently the next morning when he was taking said Mrs to work, the inside of the screen misted up showing all the footprints in there full glory. He reckons bedsits are much better than they are cracked up to be8. Someone who is happy to put their feet up on your dash
