Where can I go for an eye test where they aren't just interested in selling me stuff? Recently I've been experiencing increased eye strain and I can't work out whether it's work, TV, mobile phone etc. I'm sure that if I found the cause and fixed it then I wouldn't actually need glasses but I'm not sure an opticians would help with this.

Pretty much all of the opticians will be wanting to push a sale onto you. I've actually been experiencing issues similar to yourself but with added headaches following a light upgrade in my workplace. After a recommendation, I'm actually off to get a test at my local Tesco as apparently they are least "arsed" about pushing a sale of specs onto you.

Got the added bonus of clubcard points if I do need glasses too laugh
