I guess the topic will probably get moved, but let's try anyway...

Does anyone know why some red wine gives you black teeth and lips? What kind of wine makes that happen? The most I can summerise from years of experience is that it's more likely to happen with cheap wine but occassionally with expensive wine as well.

Does anyone have a scooby? (that's not another topic)

I wonder if it's due to the colour of red wine :scratchin:

I'm editing this as I'm more interested in how to get the chin scratching smile, as it obviously isn't by typing :scratchin:

Does being on your mobile stop you from reading... hehehe... I said some does it and some does not. So that must rule out the possibility of it being the colour?

I'm a red wine freak and it happens to me all of the time frown I tend not to drink cheap red so it can't be that wink

I have been know to brush my lips when I do my teeth, it was once commented on in work that my lips were a shade darker from the night before rolleyes

I did wonder if that was a possibility. Like those plaque detection pills the dentist gives you to try to encourage children to brush their teeth properly.

Usually I brush teeth in the morning and before bed. So normally my teeth will be covered in whatever I have eaten during the day so I'm not sure if that's the full story. Bearing in mind it does not always happen?

Same problem here, I think it depends on what you have eaten that day. Just try not to wipe stained lips on your mother in laws white hand towels. Doesnt go down well

Never mind now, topic moved off into oblivion. I don't understand what the 'General Gassing' forum is for if not general stuff. Seems to be filled up with junk threads about '///M rant' or some rubbish like that with 90 pages.
