Research phenibut.

This is touted as the most relaxing/stress/anxiety reducing OTC supplement.

And i can vouch for this if you fancy calming stress etc out, its very potent, do not take it every day, once to twice a week or a lower dose 3 days on 3 days off as the tolerance is a big problem with this compound.

What a random OP...

I'd far rather exercise than drink alcohol to unwind, personally.

Only way for me to unwind is to tear up some windy roads listening to Motörhead smile

Just a quick thought: I would not
advise experimenting with high doses
of any psychotrope developped in the
Soviet Union unless you have a soviet
doctor at hand.

its also addictive.

Never ever felt like I need alcohol to unwind. Nor pills, supplements, herbs or any other snake oil anybody's thought up.

I need a bit of space to myself, some music I enjoy and a means to listen to it, somewhere comfortable to sit or lie, and to be warm and cosy. Purring cat on the knee optional but improves the unwinding quite a bit.

Pfft.

Unless you 'try' to unwind at work.. sat at your desk..

Not the 'done' thing, apparently.

Not everyone has a desk job... it's why window cleaners are full of pent-up aggression...

So glad it's not just me that does that.
