calf strain starts in back?
Discussion
Guys, does anybody have any experience of this?
It's been happening to me on and off for a couple of years (I think since a bike prang where I fractured a disc in my lower back)
I can be running and start to get a tightening in my lower back and then my calf starts to hurt like a pull or strain, it can take a couple of weeks to repair which is pretty frustrating, seems to happen particularly after a long days driving the previous day.

Funnily enough I was talking to my Oseteopath about leg pain (on behalf of my Mum who is having a lot of pain in her leg)
He said if pain is localized around hip and above knee it is likely to be pain related to that area, if the pain progresses to the knee and below it is often linked to the back.
This fits in with my Mums history (slipped disc few yrs ago and recurrent issues since) sounds like it could be similar with you.
Find a good osteopath and see what they say.
