I seem to be constantly ill at the moment. Had whopping cough over christmas, then general cold & sore throat, now I have laryngitis. Any advice on finally shifting this?

Getting really fed up with it now.

Do you have climate control /air conditioning at work?

Do you usually have the central heating on full blast?

Do you exercise /have a healthy diet?

Do you drink enough water on its own, ie not tea/coffee?

Do you still have your tonsils?

Do you talk too much? hehe

As above but add:
Are you stressed out?

Do you get enough sleep?

Do you eat enough fresh fruit and vegetables?

Do you drink alcoholic drinks and smoke a lot?

Yes
No
Not great. Diagnosed with MS in October so not doing much exercise as overheating sets symptoms off
Drink mostly Pepsi Max or squash
Yes tonsils still in situ
Probably smile

Never really done stress. I just get on with things with a positive attitude.

I recently started using the Sleep Cycle app on i-phone and my sleep pattern is awful. I wake constantly through the night.
I don't smoke and rarely drink.

My diet really is poor, I eat a banana most days but that is probably the only healthy thing I have. That's the first thing to work on I guess. Plus drnking less Pepsi and more water.

They really do have an app for everything. Utterly bizarre. I don't know how I manage to survive without a single app. hehe

Your Pepsi caffeine levels must be quite high which is messing up your sleep. Do you find it easy to fall asleep, though, or are you thinking about stuff?

Staying asleep seems to be the issue for me. I can get to sleep, but then wake every 2 hours or so. Last Wednesday night I woke 7 times.

Starting tomorrow I will cut down the Pepsi and see how things go. I have been drinking even more of it over the past few months as my throat is sore so I'm thirsty.

Try to drink more water or fresh fruit juice. I wouldn't cut out completely for the moment, as you might experience caffeine withdrawal symptoms. You tomorrow: eek
