I was half cut last night not even fully drunk, i ate before, during and after drinking, i got in drank water, woke up today had a bacon sandwhich and water but its the same every time....

I feel close to death, i have hot flushes, severe lack of appetite, anxiety, severe dry mouth and i feel so disconnected from everyone and everything, like im sat here in my own world, i cant focus on anything. If i close my eyes i can see people dancing in a nightclub like silhoutes of them, but as though im on the ceiling looking down at them :/

Why do i feel so bad? noone i know seems to get all this they just feel tired and a bit sick

Im only 23, and ive had blood tests, only thing they found was gilberts syndrome which wouldent be related as its symptomless

You are a lightweight. Get used to it.

It's not your fault and if you don't drink you'll probably live longer.

If you were drinking fizzy europiss then this feeling is normal, I found the chemicals in stuff like Stella was making me ill the day after, in factg, witht he extended opening hours I found it was possible to have the headache and general ill feel come on before I had stopped drinking.

Switch to real ale or shots of whisky.

It's related to the drink. Beer, lager and bitter all taste absolutely terrible in my eyes, so I have to stick to drinking spirits. Vodka limes give me the most stonking hangovers, vodka oranges don't touch me even if I have a ridiculous night on them. Perhaps try a pint of water when you get in on a night, just to help the body rehydrate itself?

I've never had a hangover even remotely like that from drinking alcohol.

It sounds very much more like a come-down from class a drugs. Not that i've been near any for 20 years... i cant believe fizzy ber has that effect - it doesnt to me. You've been spiked.

You have literally described my hangover and im only 23.
But only if I was seriously drunk the night before, if I don't drink too much then im usually alright.
The thing I hate out of all of those is the anxiety, no idea why it happens though.

I'm 49 and find that I can drink loads at home and be OK err ish the next day but if I go out and have say only 4 pints in the pub, I feel terrible. I'm starting to wonder about the hygiene of the pipes and/or the glasses. Same whether I drink ale or lager except the ale (which I love) does my guts in for at least the day after.

Went out during the week and had 2 bottles of Krabbies and then 2 big bottles of Cobra with an Indian and although tipsey was fine the next day.

I'm sure it's pump and pumped beer that is getting me every time.

Mind you I was at a leaving do on Thurs and had a couple of bottles of Champagne followed by 2 very large gins, all before 8.30pm. Have felt ste all weekend.

Hmmm, let me see, you apply a psychoactive drug to your central nervous system and you're confused about why you get psycological effects?

I think it's all that C2H5OH in them.

the anxiety is due to what i believe a glutamine rebound if you read up on it
