Pain In Fingers / Knuckles
Discussion
Hi,
For the last few weeks I've been getting aches / pains in my fingers and knuckles including loss of sensation.
At first I thought it might be a type of RSI from using a mouse and swapped hands but recently I've hardly been at a computer and my right hand is worse (and I now use my mouse left handed)
I'm told GP's generally advise rest / painkillers so I was wondering if anyone had any experience in anything else that might help.
Cheers

Is the pain constant, or worse at certain times of day? have you done anything you remember to cause it, and just before you started to feel the pain did you notice a rash anywhere ?For the last few weeks I've been getting aches / pains in my fingers and knuckles including loss of sensation.

Carpel tunnel syndrome?
I had to go to the docs years back as I was getting pain across my knuckles - I was a pro musician at the time and was playing guitar 6 hours plus a day. On my left (fret) hand, I started to get the pain. His first diagnosis was the above but it turned out to be a lack of lubrication in the 'tubes' the ligaments move in.
I was simply told to rest for a bit and then reduce the intensity of the work/playing.
Cleared itself up really and never came back.
