Was £200 though, so not so bad.

Yep Oral B or Sonicare, I'm not a preacher of either, would prob recommend Sonicare if you can afford it. I use a SC and wouldn't go back now.
But Oral B also very good.
Don't forget to tongue scrape, floss and interdental brush!
- forget the mouthwash it's a load of s

I'd been pondering an ultrasonic toothbrush for a while, however this thread finally prompted me to get one, and I ordered that same one you've linked to.
It arrived yesterday and I used it for the first time. Absolutely fugging amazing - my teeth have never felt so clean.
I never thought I'd rave about a toothbrush, but there you go.

I used an Oral-B with Precision Clean heads until recently when I switched to Sonicare - Argos had the old model at £25 for a twin pack (I sold one on ebay for £20). The older Sonicare has larger heads than the Precision Clean, so it seems harder to get it into the right position to clean the back teeth. The newer Sonicare has smaller heads, and (importantly) only the top piece needs to bb replaced, the old model you need to change the lower plastic shroud and magnets and everything when the head wears out!
