Very sensitive tooth after a root canal
Discussion
Yesterday morning (10-11.30am) my girlfriend had a root canal on one of her teeth and since then it has been extremely sensitive to any form of pressure. Temperature doesn't have any effect, but things like chewing or accidentally knocking it causes agony. Is this common? Have any of you had a root canal and experienced anything like this?
Thanks in advance.
Thanks in advance.
First few days of mine were like that, then almost fine. Every now and again as the memory fades you bite something and get a little shock (nothing too bad).
Still had this for a while after, but now 30 years later it's fine. Only joking, Mine got better and better every day.
Ps, buy her a box of soft choccys.

Thanks for the further responses - the tooth which sparked this topic is now pretty much back to normal, however today she's had another one done. I will get her something nice, however as I am currently sat in my car awaiting the arrival of the AA it may have to wait until tomorrow!
