Hi there PH!
I noticed recently i have a badly receding hairline and my hair is thinning, i havent even reached 20 yet!!
Anyone know of a way to stop or slow this down and also is there any way (that works) to encourage my hair to grow back?

My twin had the same thing happen when he was 26 iirc. He took what I think was called proscar. He was on it for around a year and has a very thick head of hair and we are 33 now. I think it only works if you get in early. He noticed it with wet hair under a light in the bathroom.

He said his libido went all to hell but with him being a bummer that meant I could sleep at night not having to worry about a sore bum with that twinergy bks. smile

This ^.

Anyway, shaved head = no maintenance, looks cool (on most guys unless you have an odd shape head) and most chicks love it. That is 3x win. thumbup

Nothing you can do tbh I started going bald around 17/18 im 22 now so not got too much longer to go before i completely give up. Alpecin shampoo seemed to help a little bit but you would just be drawing it out a little while longer.

I remember a fellow apprentice many years ago who had a "Mick Miller"

Looked weird but his girlfriend was the best looking lass in the factory, boy I can still see her arse going up the stairs to her office now!!

Regaine.

Seems to have stopped mine falling out but it's claims of making it regrow seem to be a bit wide of the mark, although I have only been using it for a few weeks.

£45 quid for three months supply on amazon so was worth a try I figured.

Let the sides grow long then comb it up in the middle into a "cool" spiky hairdo...just don't let anyone see it wet!

Well with your barnet, and the Euros starting next week, it's probably time to bring back the Bobby Charlton comb-over. It'll be all the rage in a month or so. smile

One of my mates mentioned recently that his hairline was receding, and now that he has mentioned it I have noticed that a large number of people in my year (most 19 - 20 ish) are the same. It is certainly not an uncommon thing!

I have fairly thick hair so I don't think it will be happening to me any time soon, but I have noticed from an old photo that my hairline is a bit further back than it used to be. st.

So he's saying his twin is a gheyer and because they have that "twin connection" thing he no longer gets a sore bum because of his libido lacking after, one would assume, his twin is being bummed?

Regaine/Rogaine if you care that much, but if it's male pattern baldness you will have to use it for the rest of your life as when you stop application your head will go back to what it should be. There is nothing wrong with going bald, much like aging, it's inevitable if you are wired that way. The people that matter won't care and those that care about that don't matter.

Acceptance is so much cheaper and easier.

Started going at 21/22 so it got buzzed off to a number 2. Been like that ever since. Some would say it's a blessing with me being a ginger.

I read it as once his twin had gone bald, Mr.Dmulally didn't have to worry about getting bummed at night by Mr.Dmulally(1) because his libido had suffered.

I am very confused. But not like dmulally.
