general anesthetic

Quick question, should someone be suffering the effects of a general anesthetic a month after the op has finished ? side effects, nausia/vomiting/fuzzy head.

You mis-wrote a bit on the occupation part on your profile. But also no they should have subsided by now so go see the doc and get it sorted. Sometimes it can affect the brain in weird ways, Russel Howards good News showed a bloke who couldn't stop laughing after a hip op due to the operation.

If you have the symptoms you've described then off to see the doctor,pronto,unless it's a known bug of sorts that doing the rounds..

Its not me ... I wish it was, they wont go to see doc for second option as the "specialist" said it was just a combination of drugs/pain etc .. but its the reliance on blaming the anesthetic part that didnt seem right.

Are they still taking pain killers? Many opiod based pain killers can cause nausea /fuzzy head etc

If the patient is still taking painkillers, can the patient try normal painkillers or is it too severe? (Note: I have no relevant qualifications but merely speaking from experience as after some op I was given cocodamol and the world was dizzy for a day until someone mentioned it was that; switched to paracetamol and the effects went away.)
