IF and BCAA/whey powder
Discussion
Two questions for the cognoscenti;
1. Who is trying intermittent fasting, and what results are you getting? I am by no means a serious body builder, but I love to work out and want to build muscle whilst keeping fat down - who doesn't. Just read some stuff and it all makes sense, so I am going to give the overnight fasting approach a go.
2. There is a suggestion with IF that you should take BCAA post fast and pre-workout. I would rather avoid dumping too much processed stuff into my gob so I'm interesting in the whey powder approach. I avoid bovine diary so found goat milk whey which I will give a go - but also confused matters by finding egg protein, pea protein and some other stuff. Any experts care to enlighten me in terms a duffer can understand of any comparisons between these? The obvious difference I can see is the anount of protein, so I intend to go for something with the higher content.
TIA
