Fair play to the chap. However I'm pretty sure the weights that come up whilst he is squatting are wrong, as in they say 155kg I count 100kg plus collars.

All the research suggests that age actually does not reduce performance by any significant margin until you reach about 75, where it doe start to drop off. The reduced fitness a lot of people see as they age is usually down to a de training effect, simply that they do less as they get older. People see the see and assume correlaton = causation, which obviously is not always the case, and is not in this instance. It's often used as an excuse though!

I think there is a happy medium to be struck at all ages with regards to fitness/training etc...
