Gross I know but have 4 hours to kill until I see a doc so wondered if anyone else has had this.

Noticed on Sat, mucus and white fatty stuff but much more the next day. Long strands that stay in one piece about 3mm wide and various lengths up to 100mm.

I have saved a bit for the doc, I'm such a catch smile

I'm thinking dying, hopefully, tapeworm but have no idea where I would have picked that up from. I did eat seared tuna in the Bahamas about a month ago which was very rare.

Any ideas as it does not resemble anything that I have eaten.

You see the bit where you'd said you have no idea. And then just after it where you ate the raw fish in the tropics.

I'm just saying... wink

Sounds like tapeworm, and it's not dying - the long 'tape' part is a string of eggs stuck together ready for the next gourmet who likes eating 'seared' (i.e. raw) food. wink

You could try worming yourself...

I have been ravenous for the last few weeks, constantly eating. Only problem is that I have been putting on weight.

Both conditions (overweight and tapeworm) are due to a third condition; gluttony, which makes you eat things even when you think they are A Bad Idea.

Good luck. If you don't see a doctor soon, it'll be the tapeworm typing and not you.

You wait until you st out a 20ft tape worm. Then you'll lose a bit of weight.

I hear fish ones can be harder to shift then beef type. Best of luck.

If you turn that frown upside down, you might see the tapeworm peeping out of your mouth.

Yeah, but know your parasite - tapeworms don't make the anus itchy. laugh
