What deodorant do you use?

As a mature, powerfully-built company director I would like a sophisticated scent befitting of my status in society... however unfortunately I have the whiff of poor student due to using Lynx Dry. I also use Nivea Men face moisturiser stuff and a dab of a random CK aftershave, but that's about it in terms of my personal grooming habits.

So - I've tried a few other deodorants but I find my, er, natural scent returns somewhat quicker than I'd hoped. Suggestions chaps?

One of those crystal rocks. Surprisingly, they work even when I hit the gym.

Otherwise, standard Right Guard. Either way, I like them with weak scents so I can use whichever EDT I want.

I think you're preoccupied with another hostile female orifice, where temperature and humidity can also vary greatly.

Anti-perspirants (Right Guard, Sure, Mitchum) and deodorants (Lynx) are different things.
Although Lynx make an anti-perspirant now (which they thought long and hard about due to potential impact on Sure sales)

I use Sure.

'Nivea For Men' for an anti-perspirant. By far the most effective that I've found.

'Issey Miyake L'Eau D'Issey Pour Homme Sport' as an nice eau-de-toilette. Despite the frankly ridiculous name, it smells fantastic. Invariably somebody will comment on how nice it smells and ask what it is.

I use the Sure roll ons. End up smelling at the end of the work day if I use anti-perspirant sprays

I use an anti-odorant called Trust.

Its an anti-odorant rather than an anti-perspirant, so it doesn't stop your body sweating (which is a natural process), it just kills the bacteria that cause that nasty sweaty smell.

The great thing about it is that you only need to put it on a couple of times a week, then just shower normally. I keep a pot in my locker at work and one at home.

I'm not the sweatiest of powerfully built company directors so I tend to shop for the 'best value' (cheap) products. This is often Adidas as both Sainsbury's and Boots often have it on offer; e.g. click. It works well and is not offensively deodoranty.

I find all anti-perpirements a let down after seeing the adverts, none of them keep you truly dry on a warm day.Add to this they all contain aluminium phosphate which builds up and ruins clothes means it might be time to try something else.
These crystals sound interesting, anymore info?

Use Driclor overnight, as per the instructions. Dry pits guaranteed. Excellent product!

You have to wet them before applying them. The salt (not sure what kind of salt) kills the bacteria. They last way over 24 hours even after a heavy session in the gym. You still sweat as normal but no smell whatsoever which means you can apply your own EDT. One larger stick lasts about 3-4 months with one daily use. The only gripe is that when it gets low, you can struggle to use the last 1cm.</tightwad>

That used to happen when it was rare but now the everyone wears it.

It is one of the longer lasting EDTs that don't cost the earth. I like Vera Wang which lasts all day, but its about £50 a pop.

I don't know how an Alum block works, but Trust is a cream you put on a couple of times a week which lets you sweat naturally, but stops it from smelling at all.
